Yesterday an Israeli was arrested at the Mactan Cebu International Airport. His heinous offense? – joking that he had a bomb in his bag. Of course he was just trying to prove that Israelis still have a sense of humor, in spite of all the flak they’ve been receiving in the international scene lately. Too bad the airport officials didn’t laugh. They didn’t even think it was funny. And since there’s a law somewhere that states you can’t joke around saying you got bombs in your possession, he was arrested and then subsequently questioned. After he was hauled away, airport officials then burst out in laughter. Kidding there. 
No no no, this is not the Israeli guy.
MANILA, Philippines – An Israeli tourist landed in jail Sunday after joking he had a bomb in his baggage at the Mactan Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City.Radio dzBB’s Cebu affiliate reported the joke proved costly for Eliav Goali, 23, after Police Civil Aviation Security (PCAS) personnel quickly arrested him and brought him for questioning.Goali, who was heading for Australia to be with his girlfriend, had reached the final security check when he jokingly said he had a bomb in his shoe.
Police found no bomb in his shoes or baggage, but detained Goali despite his protests for violating Presidential Decree 1727 that outlaws bomb jokes. - GMANews.TV
